The Āzhvār, while adoring the Lord's divine seat and the devout in Tiruvāṟaṉviḷai more fervently than the Lord Himself, is reciprocated by the Lord's adoration of Kurukūr, the Āzhvār's birthplace. Thus, the Lord, mounted on Garuḍa, was hastening towards Kurukūr. They have now met halfway at Tiruvāṟaṉviḷai. Here, the Āzhvār experiences the Lord in various manifestations, such as Kōvinta, the passionate Lover of His devotees, and as Hari and Matucūtaṉ, the Vanquisher of His devotees' adversaries.
