(i) The Lord has indeed chosen an enchanting place from where He and His consort could enjoy listening to Tiruvāymoḻi recital by Saint Nammāḻvār. The Āzhvār is eagerly looking forward to his visit to this pilgrim centre.

In this inaugural pāsuram of the chapter, our glorious Āzhvār expresses a profound and urgent yearning, contemplating if this very moment is the apt and destined time to enter the sacred precincts of Tiruvāṟaṉviḷai.
