Chapter 10
Āzhvār requests the Lord in Thiruvāranvilai to accept him as His servant - (இன்பம் பயக்க)
திருவாறன்விளை சென்று எம்பெருமானைக் கண்டு ஆழ்வார் அடிமைசெய்யக் கருதுதல் (திருவாறன்விளை)
Bhagavān decrees, “Āzhvār! I have showered my blessings on you, so don’t falter now. I, along with my consorts, reside in Thiruvāranvilai divyadesam. Come there! I want to hear your divine hymns. Do come and sing for me and find some solace there.“ Āzhvār obeys His command as expressed in these hymns.

Will the auspicious days approach when I can joyfully circumambulate Tiruvāṟaṉviḷai, enveloped by beautiful gardens, and pay reverence to my Lord, who joyfully governs all realms and now resides there in the delightful presence of Lakṣmī, born from the lotus? - Verse 2:
With water scented and plentifully adorned, I shall encircle and pay homage at Tiruvāṟaṉviḷai, the fortified city adorned with towering forts and flying banners, where my beloved Lord, Vāmaṉaṉ, resides affectionately. He, without any hesitation, traversed the entirety of creation in just two strides. - Verse 3:
Shall I be so blest that I keep adoring for ever
Tiruvāṟaṉviḻai, with its gardens big, where reside scholars.
Performing the rituals five, chanting aloud the Vedas four and well-versed
In their six adjuncts and worship the buoyant Hari, mounted on the victorious bird (Guaruḍa)
Kōvintaṉ, Matucūtaṉ, my Lord, who the demons slew?
When indeed will my longing deep be put through? - Verse 4:
When will I attain the joy of ceaselessly contemplating the blossoming lotus feet of Kaṇṇa, my divine Father with delightful sapphire complexion? He was born in Vaṭamaturai, the Supreme Lord adorned with magnificent glory, now residing in Tiruvāṟaṉviḷai, surrounded by robust sugarcane fields, lush paddy crops, and fertile lands. - Verse 5:
As soon as we extol the magnificent glory of Tiruvāṟaṉviḷai, where flowers bloom abundantly and lofty castles stand tall, our praises resound far and wide. In this divine abode, the Lord reclines on a serpent-bed, and His beautiful lotus feet are forever etched in my mind. He selected me among many others, showered His grace upon me, and inspired me to worship Him wholeheartedly. Through this devotion, all our sins will surely vanish. - Verse 6:
Oh, devotees, your grave sins will be obliterated if you devoutly contemplate the magnificent city of Tiruvāṟaṉviḷai, where the Lord resides. He once emerged victorious in a battle and lovingly embraced Uruppiṇi, the adorned and captivating maiden. He remains steadfast in my mind, always available for contemplation. - Verse 7:
Our destination is Tiruvāṟaṉviḷai, the vast citadel filled with flower gardens. Our sole refuge is the benevolent and infinitely loving Lord, Kaṇṇaṉ, who graciously resides there as the chief of SriVaikuntam. He vanquished Vāṇaṉ's thousand arms in a fierce battle within His citadel, thereby subduing even the mighty Rudra. - Verse 8:
If one could visit Tiruvāṟaṇviḷai, encircled by enchanting gardens, where the compassionate Lord resides, who soothed the profound distress of the Elephant in the vast pond, finding solace in His divine presence, all sins could be absolved from the depths of our hearts. - Verse 9:
With a mind purified, free from all sins, I might attain the spiritual realm. Yet, my heart yearns for Tiruvāṟaṉviḷai, where the devout gather with strict adherence to righteous conduct in speech, action, and thought. I long to linger in that sacred abode, to encircle it in reverence and worship with hands joined in devotion. - Verse 10:
The Lord, all-knowing, understands every thought that arises within us. He surely perceives that my mind is solely occupied with thoughts of the immaculate Lord, who resides in Tiruvāṟaṉviḷai, filling our hearts with joy, adored by the devout through their words, actions, and contemplation. - Verse 11:
In SriVikuntam, the Nithyasuris shall forever proclaim that those who are well-versed in these ten songs, out of the flawless thousand composed by Kurukūr Caṭakōpaṉ, dedicated to the immaculate Lord as the sole means, are indeed very pure and worthy of great reverence.
