emperumān who measured all the worlds with his three steps —

all places in ṣrīvaikuṇtam —

other than thrivikraman who measured all the worlds by growing —

(is this) because of the tiredness after measuring the worlds? —

 where brāhmaṇas who are capable of performing creation just as brahmā is capable of doing, are residing —

on that day (when mahābali poured water on vāmana’s palm), when emperumān measured all the worlds, his —

in matters relating to the (popular) three-fold qualities [sathva, rajas, thamas] of the worlds —

all the people in the world knew. —

going past the beautiful worlds above —

 ŏh ŏne who stood in the divine place called ‘thirukkāragam’ for the whole world to worship! —

can ī not administer this leelā vibhūthi (materialistic realm) under my control! —

 and who spanned all the three worlds by ḥis steps (during thrivikrama avathār), —

along with the three worlds —

the three worlds —

the three types of chĕthanas (souls) and achĕthana (matter) which are well known from pramāṇams (authentic scriptures) —
