Friends, does it make sense to tease me like this? My mind is drawn to the Lord who stays in Tiruvallavāḻ, where the southern breeze carries the sweet fragrance from posh punnai trees. When will we indeed be anointed by the dust from His feet?

(i) The mates who were critical of the Nāyakī’s attitude are reprimanded by her. She says that her mind is attracted by the Lord in Tiruvallavāḻ through the fragrance wafted from there. Simple Translation
Those who can recite these ten songs, praising the glory of Tiruvallavāḻ, the beautiful walled city, out of the thousand composed by Caṭakōpaṉ of Teṉkurukūr, will gain fame and distinction, even if they are born in this land.

Those that recite this decad will indeed gain fame and distinction, not attainable by other householders.
