will not be your limb —

keeping the hand on the (subtle) difficult-to-bear waist which is like a beautiful lightning —

as our thirumāl (emperumān) who has taken permanent residence in the corridor [of mrigaṇdu maharishi’s hermitage] at thirukkŏvalūr —

killing yamal̤a and arjuna (to imply his removal of pairs of sufferings) —

on the waist —

between the [twin] arjuna trees —

there is no reason; —

having creeper like (slender) waist —

the slender waist —

those who are having slender waist —

in between —

towards me who has got ignoble qualities as the identification —

they will realise the pleasures lying in-between (such as heaven etc) —

attaining lowly comforts (such as svarga etc) which come in the middle (between samsāram and mŏksham) —

it will appear like a flash of lightning across rain-laden clouds —

from the body which is made of flesh etc —

in various births —

in every moment of every birth —

permanent —

in between two huge arjuna (terminalia arjuna) trees —
