empirān who has thul̤asi garland —

my swāmy (l̤ord) who is reclining in the beautiful temple [ṣrīrangam temple] —

for my father (emperumān) who is atop thirumalai hills which have streams on all sides —

[his followers] will say are the residences for chakravarthy thirumagan (ṣrī rāma) who is an expert at shooting arrows. —

for our clan (instead of stopping with just us) —

lord of my clan —

to the leader of our clan of successive ancestors —

one who is having the primary relationship with us in our ancestral chain —

one who is my infinite lord —

(due to that nature) one who is master for us —

the lord of my clan —

emperumān who has two long divine hands —

the nature of thirukkŏttiyūr perumān —

emperumān who does not have an end ever —
