என்னை ஆட்கொண்டவன் இராமானுசன்

3961 சிந்தையினோடு கரணங்கள் யாவும் சிதைந்து * முன்னாள்
அந்தமுற்றாழ்ந்ததுகண்டு * அவைஎன்றனக்கன்றருளால்
தந்தவரங்கனும் தன் சரண்தந்திலன் தானதுதந்து *
எந்தை யிராமானுசன்வந்தெடுத்தனனின்றென்னையே.

Simple Translation

3961. When my senses hurt and I could not survive, the lord Rangan did not come to me and give me his grace but now my father Rāmānujā has come and helps me.

முன் நாள் — ஸ்ருஷ்டிக்கு முன்பு; சிந்தையினோடு — மனதோடு; கரணங்கள் — இந்திரியங்களும்; யாவும் சிதைந்து — எல்லாம் அழிந்து; அந்தம் உற்று — அசேதனமாய்; ஆழ்ந்தது கண்டு — இருப்பதைப் பார்த்து; என் தனக்கு அவை — எனக்கு மனம் இந்திரியங்கள்; அன்று அருளால் — ஆகியவற்றை தன் கிருபையால்; தந்த அரங்கனும் — அருளின அரங்கனும்; தன் சரண் — தன் திருவடிகளைக் காட்டி; தந்திலன் — உய்விக்கும் வழியைத் தரவில்லை; எந்தை இராமாநுசன் — எங்கள் இராமாநுசன்; தான் வந்து — தாமாகவே வந்து; அது தந்து — அந்தத் திருவடிகளைத் தந்து; இன்று என்னையே — இன்று என்னை; எடுத்தனன் — உய்வித்தார்

mun nāl̤ — before the time of (ḥim) creating,; sindhaiyinŏdu — along with the main faculty that is – mind,; karaṇangal̤ yāvum — all the faculties/senses; sithaindhu — (had) destructed,; anthamuṝu — and got annihilated; āzhndhadhu — and became ineffective without any difference from non-sentient,; kaṇdu — seeing such state,; anṛu — at that time,; aranganum — periya perumāl̤,; arul̤āl thandha — gave, only due to his kindness,; avai — those faculties/senses; en thanakku — to me who is like a non-sentient; than charaṇ thandhilan — ḥe did not give ḥis divine feet;; irāmānusan — (but) emperumānār,; endhai — as a father for me; vandhu — came and; thān — he (is the one who); adhu thandhu — gave those divine feet (of emperumān) (to me, and); inṛu eduththanan — he took out; ennai — me who was drowning in the sea of material world; ŏh! what a help this is! — is the thought.
