other than saying that he reached an ancient place —

the ancient dhĕvas (such as brahmā et al) who are sādhanānushtāna parar (those who are trying to reach emperumān through their own efforts) —

[the demon] rāvaṇa, who has been living for a long time, his —

his natural kindness —

her natural kindness as his water source for growing; —

sarvĕṣvaran (supreme being) who has been having affection towards me for a long time —

show those who have gone to that location which you call as mŏksham, and returned —

was it not to remove the ahankāram (egotism) and mamakāram (possessiveness) [of samsāris such as ourselves]! —

one who reclined on the ocean during the time of great deluge —

removing sins which have been there since time immemorial —

on the earth, which is there for a very long time —

birth in an ancient clan —

 huge kurugu (heron) birds —

 eternally remaining —

is only to praise the divine names of that long-standing sarvĕṣvara (supreme being) —

being hard like a mountain which cannot be cracked, being ancient and great —

the ancient hellish regions —

since time immemorial, having lost out in bhagavath vishayam (matter relating to emperumān), ŏh my heart! —

that paramapadham (or archirādhi mārga, the way to reach paramapadham) is distinguished and is existing for a very long time —

oh one who is having distinguished weapon! —
