vowing to swallow completely —

and falling on ḥis divine feet, yet not moved by this nature (of emperumān in milky ocean), such kalakkam illā nal thava munivar [thiruvāimozhi – 8.3.10] (not having the perturbances of samsāram, such sages like sanakar), (even they) would enjoy this (glorious knowledge) at all times thinking what a great knowledge this is! (knowledge about charama parvam – knowledge related to devotion to āchāryan), and so, —

when māhapral̤ayam (deluge) swallowed —

swallowing all the worlds without leaving out anything (so that deluge cannot destroy them) —

the glorious wealth —

as he gobbled these in order to fill up his stomach —

the [physical] body which will fall naturally —

one who has the power to protect them by swallowing them —

when swallowing butter —

eating butter, which does not satiate him (however much he eats) —

excellent (since auspicious) —

butter —

 butter —

best —

 great —

 fell down —

and falling into the cruel pit of senses like sound, form, etc., —

as he swallowed —

consumed —

subdued —
