1300 உருத்தெழுவாலிமார்வில் ஓருகணை உருவவோட்டி *
கருத்துடைத்தம்பிக்கு இன்பக்கதிர்முடியரசு அளித்தாய் *
பருத்தெழுபலவும்மாவும் பழம்விழுந்தொழுகும்நாங்கை *
கருத்தனே! காவளந்தண்பாடியாய்! களைகண்நீயே.

Simple Translation

1300. You shot your arrow through Vāli’s chest when he came to fight with you angrily and killed him and you gave the kingdom and the shining crown of Kishkinda to his brother, good-natured Sugrivan. You stay in Kāvalambādi in Nāngai where mango fruits ripening on the trees fall on jackfruits and the juice of both fruits flows on the ground. Take away our troubles.
