O Friend! I will embrace Kaṇṇaṉ and my heart shall melt.

தோழீ! கண்ணனைத் தழுவி மனம் உருகுவேன்

2079 தென்னிலங்கையரண்சிதறிஅவுணன்மாளச்
சென்றுலகமூன்றினையும்திரிந்தோர்தேரால் *
மன்னிலங்குபாரதத்தைமாளவூர்ந்த
வரையுருவின்மாகளிற்றைத்தோழீ! * என்தன்
பொன்னிலங்குமுலைக்குவட்டில்பூட்டிக்கொண்டு
போகாமைவல்லேனாய்ப்புலவியெய்தி *
என்னிலங்கமெல்லாம்வந்துஇன்பமெய்த

Simple Translation

2079. The daughter says, “O friend, he who destroyed the forts of southern Lankā and killed the Rakshasās, measured the earth and the sky and drove the chariot for Arjunā in the Bhārathā war is large as a mountain and strong as an elephant. I will embrace him with my gold-ornamented breasts. I won’t let him go. I will plunge into the love for him thinking always of him, melting with joy that fills my body. ”

thŏzhee! — ŏh friend!; senṛu — (ḥe who) went (there and won, as the),; araṇ — forts; sidhari — got destroyed; thennilakai — in the beautiful lankā,; avuṇan māl̤ā — and also rāvaṇan got destroyed;; ulagam mūnṛinaiyum thirundhu — and who spanned all the three worlds by ḥis steps (during thrivikrama avathār),; ŏr thĕrāl ūrndha — ḥe who conducted using a chariot,; bārathaththai māl̤a — for everyone to be destroyed in the mahābhāratha war; man ilangu — that was having bright presence of kings;; varai uruvin mā kal̤iṝai — that is, emperumān who is big like an elephant in form like a mountain,; pūttik koṇdu — (ī will) tie (ḥim in); en than — my; pon ilangu mulaik kuvattil — pillars that are the bosom that are beautiful like gold,; pŏgāmai vallĕnāy — and become able to stop and prevent from going away,; pulavi eydhi — and go through all the sorrows in front of ḥim which ī went through in ḥis absence,; ennil angam ellām vandhu inbam eydha — for all the parts of my body to come to me and become happy,; nān — ī (would); ninaindhu — think about ḥim only; eppozhudhum — at all times,; urugi iruppan — and die, so ī can survive by escaping from sorrows of separation.
