saying that you would drink to your stomach’s content, thus drinking (her life along with her milk) —

(the mother) left without any worry, after saying that there is surely no one else who has caused this disease —

opening his divine mouth wide open —

if they say “thiruvarangam” [ṣrīrangam] —

one who is our protector at all times —

and ḥe will say ŏ!, and he would help us. —

he [emperumān] is the controller for both the types of deeds, virtuous and sinful —

saying -the goal which is difficult to attain, has become easy!- —

 saying -my strong elephant- (one who is having such activities) —

 as one who is having acts of an enjoyable elephant for me —

the dhrāvida vĕdham that is thiruvāimozhi for him (emperumānār); —

 saying -ālas! ālas!- —

let the ocean of sorrow (in this world) disappear —

ī cannot survive (in a direct contest) —

feeling that this is auspicious time (suitable to sing thiruppallāṇdu) —

one who said “ī am equal“ —

she, who has covered her bosoms in a corset, is known as vāsavadhaththai. —

ḫeeling for my separation and crying out -alas! alas!- —

considering -alas! (feeling sympathetic)- [for my pitiable state] —
