2177 திறம்பாதென்னெஞ்சமே! செங்கண்மால்கண்டாய் *
அறம்பாவமென்றிரண்டுமாவான் * புறந்தான்இம்

2177. O heart, know and understand this well. The beautiful eyed- Thirumāl is both dharma and sin. He is the earth, the ocean with rolling waves, wind and sky. Worship him.

en nenjamĕ — ŏh my heart!; aṛam pāvam enṛu iraṇdum āvān — he [emperumān] is the controller for both the types of deeds, virtuous and sinful; sengaṇmāl kaṇdāy — look at the emperumān who has reddish lotus like eyes.; im maṇdhān — this earth; maṛi kadaldhān — the ocean which keeps lapping waves; mārudham thān — the breeśe; vān — the sky also; puṛandhān — (different from all these) jīvan (all living species), mahān (one of the essential entities in creation, known as ‚Äúgreat‚Äù), ahankāram (ego) etc; thāne kaṇdāy — look! they are all emperumān himself!; thiṛambādhu — without mistake; kadaikkaṇ pidi — know till the end
