adal āzhiyānĕ

ŏh one who is having the divine chakra which is of the nature of destroying their [devotees-] enemies!

adal āzhi koṇdān māttu

the one who has the belligerent divine disc on his hands

adhanai eydhuvār ār ār

who all would attain the purushārtham of kāmam (love)

thaṇṇīr adhanilum āṝa inidhu enbar

will say that water is sweeter than those pursuits such as ṣabdham etc

vāzhththu ām adhu

singing praises on him, that itself

adhu ŏrāmai ām āṛu uraikkĕn

ī will clarify (to you) that it has been mentioned without analysing

looking at the way he was dancing with the pots

narasingam adhu āgi

having both narathva (human-s aspects) and simhathva (lion-s aspects)

i vaiyam ārāl adi al̤appu uṇdadhu

by whom this earth was measured

sīr ār kalai algul sīr adi sem thuvar vāy

one having a waist draped with a beautiful sari, having beautiful legs, having deep reddish mouth

adi ārndha

being complete due to the pādha bhandham (connection with the divine feet of emperumān. īt can also mean, the proper sequence/connection of the words/lines)

pū ār adi

the soft divine feet, which are like flowers

adi ām thāmarai alar

divine feet which are like lotus flowers

ālil mĕlāl amarndhān adi iṇaigal̤

towards the divine feet of emperumān protecting the universe, being vatathal̤aṣāyi (resting on pipal leaf), with agadithagatanā sāmarthyam (ability to unite opposing aspects)

chikkena ārththu adippa

to tie down firmly and beat

nizhalum adithāṛum ānŏm

we became his shadow and his pādhuka (footwear)

āngu senṛu al̤andha thiru adiyai

(during the time of thrivikrama avathāram) the divine foot which spread out, on its own, to various places and measured them

the divine feet of emperumān who is reclining, holding the incomparable sudharṣana chakkaram (divine disc)
