திருமாலைக் கண்ட சுவடு உரைத்தல்
Sriman Narayana incarnated as both Rama and Krishna and performed many divine deeds. The āzhvār expresses a longing, thinking, "Why wasn't I born in those times to witness them directly!" He reassures by saying, "Do not think that no one saw them directly. Many indeed saw them and rejoiced."
ஸ்ரீமந் நாராயணனே இராமனாகவும் கண்ணனாகவும் அவதரித்தான்; பல அரிய செயல்களைச் செய்தான். "அவர்களை நேரில் காணவில்லையே! அக்காலத்தில் பிறந்திருக்கக்கூடாதா! என்று நினைக்கத் தோன்றுகிறது! அவர்களை நேரில் கண்டவர்கள் உண்டோ என்று நினையாதீர். பலர் நேரில் கண்டு களித்தார்கள்" என்று ஆழ்வார் கூறுகிறார்.

whose long hair shines like the rays of thousands of suns
joined together, go to the people who saw him with his claws
bloodied after he split open the chest of heroic Hiranyan
whose strong arms were decorated with bracelets.

329. If you want to find the famous Rāma
carrying the sword, the conch, the club,
the bow that twangs loudly as it shoots arrows and the divine
discus, go to the people who saw him at Sita’s suyamvaram
in the palace of Janaka, the king of kings,
where Rāma broke the strong bow for Sita
whose beautiful fingers are like blooming kandal flowers.

praised by Nānmuhan and Shivā with red tresses, where the
Ganges flows,
go to the people who were there and saw him
when he took Rukmani, (whose breasts were covered ), on his chariot
and her brother, Rukman came to oppose him on the way.
