to make me reach as explained —

only ī have great fame and none else —

was ī the only one who knew this? —

by measuring with my foot —

as ī know him to be —

ī don-t know (that as mercy) —

an elephant in exultation, breaking free from its chains and running with the chain in its trunk —

there is no independent doer to be claimed as ī. —

my mind and ī —

being ī, the entity which is explained by the presence of consciousness —

 ŏh ŏne who is like a proud elephant (in thirukkaṇṇapuram)! —

 īn the place that is similar to dream which is not stable, —

ī will not accept as a deity —

there is none in the matter of my attaining any deity (other than you) —

even if ī beseech —

 being seated on intoxicated elephant and coming on a procession —

black complexioned, unique, gajĕndhrāzhwān [name of the elephant] —

the elephant which was placed to kill —
