கடல் வண்ணா! நின்னையே தொழுவேன்

2407 மற்றுத்தொழுவார் ஒருவரையும்யானின்மை *
கற்றைச்சடையான்கரிக்கண்டாய் * எற்றைக்கும்
கண்டுகொள் கண்டாய் கடல்வண்ணா * யானுன்னைக்
கண்டுகொள்கிற்குமாறு.

Simple Translation

2407. You are the ocean colored Thirumāl. Shivā with thick matted hair is my witness that I do not want to worship anyone but you. Give me your grace always so I may know and worship only you.

யான் மற்று — நான் உன்னைத் தவிர; ஒருவரையும் — வேறு ஒருவரையும்; தொழுவார் — வணங்குவதில்லை; இன்மை — இதற்கு; கற்றைச் சடையான் — கற்றைச் சடையுடைய ருத்ரன்; கரிக்கண்டாய் — ஸாக்ஷி; கடல் — கடல்போன்ற; வண்ணா! — வடிவழகை உடைய பெருமானை!; யான் உன்னை — உன்னையே வணங்கும் நான்; எற்றைக்கும் — எப்பொழுதும்; கண்டு — உன்னையே கண்டு; கொள்கிற்குமாறு — வணங்கும்படி; கண்டு கொள் — கடாக்ஷித்து; கண்டாய் — அருள வேண்டும்

kadalvaṇṇā — ŏh emperumān who has the complexion of an ocean!; yān thozhuvār maṝu oruvaraiyum inmai — there is none in the matter of my attaining any deity (other than you); kaṝuchchadaiyān — rudhra who has matted hair; karik kaṇdāy — see that he is the witness; yān — this servitor (me) who worships only you; unnai — you; eṝaikkum — forever; kaṇdukol̤kiṛkum āṛu — to keep on worshipping you; kaṇdu kol̤ — you have to bless me.
