lying still atop the bed of serpent which has five heads and mouths —

was it not staying? —

reclining on thiruppāṛkadal (milky ocean) —

one who reclined on the ocean during the time of great deluge —

mercifully resting in the deep ocean —

unparalleled lying posture —

in the same place where he was lying earlier —

being together with chĕthana (to be unable to distinguish from each other as said in -thilathailavath dhāruvahnivath- [like oil present inside sesame seed and fire present inside firewood]) —

 ḥim who is in the dear one being in reclined position —

the milky ocean where you are reclining —

in different ways residing inside the hearts of followers (melting their hearts) —

reclining —

having arrived at (due to a curse) —

lying down —

staying, without breaching the shore —

one who rests —

mercifully resting —
