“My daughter sings the praise of Thiruvenkatam
whenever she thinks of any hills.
She wears thulasi on her dark hair thinking
that is the best thing for a chaste women to wear
and she goes to bathe in the large ocean every morning
thinking that it is the milky ocean
where broad-armed Thirumāl rests. "
