2090. You took the form boar and on your single tusk you brought up the earth goddess from the underworld. Was that not the same earth that you measured with your divine feet as the sky and all the directions trembled?

viri thŏtta sĕvadiyai — reddish coloured divine feet which resemble a lotus with blossomed petals; nītti — making them grow; thisai nadunga — making people in all directions to quiver; viṇ thul̤anga — making people in the upper worlds also to tremble out of fear; mā vadivin — with a huge form (as thrivikraman); nī al̤andha — measured by you; maṇ — the earth; poru kŏttu — with tusks which are meant for battle; ŏr ĕnamāy — a unique boar [incomparable]; pukku idandhāykku — (during deluge) immersed in water and dug it out; anṛu — during that time; un — your; oru kŏttin mĕl — in a corner of one tusk; kidandhadhu anrĕ — was it not staying?

Detailed WBW explanation

poru kōṭṭu ōr ēṉamāy – as a boar with tusks designed for battle. He assumed the incarnation of a boar, which continually excavates the earth with its tusks. It is in the nature of the boar to incessantly dig; it cannot remain idle. When not burrowing into the earth, he would delve into the saffron nestled within Bhūmip Pirāṭṭi’s bosom.
