emperumān who measured all the worlds with his three steps —

other than thrivikraman who measured all the worlds by growing —

on that day (when mahābali poured water on vāmana’s palm), when emperumān measured all the worlds, his —

 you who are like my mother! —

 not showing her mercy considering that ī am her mother. —

 (one who is not the real mother) as mother —

who made his mother yasodhā’s womb meaningful —

mother (yaṣŏdhā) —

mother, father, children et al (who are all residents in the universe and are unique in their own ways) —

 like mother-s heart —

sarvĕṣvaran (lord of all) who stood and measured all the worlds —

[among the (herd of) cattle] attaining its mother —

you are the only one who carries out sweet activities for me, like a mother —

 one who came in the form of the mother —

 yaṣŏdhāp pirātti who is his real mother —

 me who is her mother —

 more than the mother who gave the body —

the demon pūthanā, who had the form of a loving mother —

demon pūthanā, who came in the form of your mother —

being the father and mother —
