adal āzhiyānĕ

ŏh one who is having the divine chakra which is of the nature of destroying their [devotees-] enemies!

āzhvārs too lost themselves to that nature of ḥim winning the enemies and they praised based on that only when they sang mannadanga mazhu valangaik koṇda irāma nambi [periyāzhvār thirumozhi

5.4.6], and venṛi mā mazhuvĕndhi mun maṇ misai mannarai mūvezhu kāl koṇṛa dhĕvā [periya thirumozhi 5.3.1].

aren’t you the emperumān with divine disc in your divine hand!

avan than paṇbu āzhi thŏl̤ paravi ĕththennum

will instruct to worship his divine shoulders which are like beautiful ocean.

ār āzhi koṇdāṛku azhagu

the beauty of such emperumān holding the beautiful divine disc, is like this.

āzhiyānai aṇugu ennum

will instruct to approach chakrapāṇi (emperumān, who has the divine disc in his hand)

valakkai āzhi idakkaich changam ivai

these distinguished symbols of the chakra (disc) in the right hand and ṣanka (conch) in the left hand

thazhal eduththa pŏr āzhi

the sudharṣana chakkaram (divine disc) which is spitting fire and is battle ready

en āzhip pirān

the great benefactor who let me enjoy his beautiful combination of hand and divine chakra (disc), earlier

en āzhi vaṇṇan pāl

in (the divine form of) emperumān who has the complexion of ocean

āzhi ennum padaiyŏdu

that is well known as the divine weapon chakram;
