இராமானுசனை அடைந்தேன்: இனி மற்றொன்றை நினையேன்

போக்கியதேவனைப் போற்றும்புனிதன் * புவனமெங்கும்

3948. He is the king of a cowherd village, the conquerer of ParasuRāma praised by the whole world who defeatedtwenty-one generations of kings with his sharp mazu. I have approached that famous Rāmānujā— my tongue will not praise anyone else, and my mind will not think of anything else.

கோக்குல மன்னரை — க்ஷத்திரிய குலத்து அரசர்களை; மூவெழு கால் — இருபத்தொரு தலைமுறை; ஒரு கூர் மழுவால் — கூர்மையான ஒரு மழுவாலே; போக்கிய — பரசுராமாவதாரத்தில் அழித்த; தேவனை — எம்பெருமானை; போற்றும் புனிதன் — வணங்கும் புனிதரும்; புவனம் எங்கும் — உலகமெங்கும்; ஆக்கிய கீர்த்தி — வியாபித்த கீர்த்தியுடயவருமான; இராமாநுசனை — இராமாநுசரை; அடைந்த பின் — அடைந்த பின்; இனி மற்று ஒன்றையே — இனி வேறு எந்த விஷயத்தையும்; என் வாக்கு உரையாது — என் வாக்கு உரைக்காது; என் மனம் நினையாது — என் மனம் நினைக்காது

mazhuvāl — ūsing parasu (axe); oru — which is matchless; kūr — and sharp,; pŏkkiya — (ḥe) destructed; mūvezhukāl — as said in irupaththoru kāl arasu kal̤ai katta [thiruvāimozhi – 6.2.10], twenty one times/generations,; kŏkkula mannarai — of kings who are based on their being born in the kshathriya family, and not those who ruled based on their being wealthy etc.,; dhĕvanai — sarvĕṣvaran having the glory/light of destructing the enemies;; adaindha pin — after surrendering to; irāmānusanai — emperumānār; pŏṝum — who praises that bhagavān after losing himself to such quality of bhagavān winning the enemies,; punithan — (and who has) got great holy nature of making impure ones to be pure based on their conection with him,; keerththi — (and who is) having such fame; ākkiya — that is spread; buvanam engum — all over the world; en vākku — my speech; uraiyādhu — would not talk about, and; en manam — my mind; ninaiyādhu — would not think about; maṝonṛai — other worldly matters; ini — at all times in the future.; āzhvārs too lost themselves to that nature of ḥim winning the enemies and they praised based on that only when they sang mannadanga mazhu valangaik koṇda irāma nambi [periyāzhvār thirumozhi — 5.4.6], and venṛi mā mazhuvĕndhi mun maṇ misai mannarai mūvezhu kāl koṇṛa dhĕvā [periya thirumozhi 5.3.1].
