the five senses —

not just that, being all types of relation —

being untouched by their defects —

 lions —

with such harmful entities —

rajas and thamas —

ẏou are the one who grants the four goals aṛam (dharma), porul̤ (things/wealth), inbam (pleasure), vīdu (srīvaikuṇtam) —

such temporary objects which are nearby, neither far away nor nearby, far away —

those virtuous and lowly actions/aspects —

with those entities which will live eternally —

collectively group together —

protected them —

in matters relating to the (popular) three-fold qualities [sathva, rajas, thamas] of the worlds —

and other divine weapons —

are like that lotus —

those worlds —

those —

(during pral̤ayam/annihilation) those —

those diverse evil aspects —

those [worlds] —
