நாகணையாய்! நின்னை நான் நாடும் வண்ணம் சொல்

3340 அடியைமூன்றையிரந்தவாறும் அங்கேநின்றாழ்கடலும் மண்ணும்விண்ணும்
முடிய * ஈரடியால் முடித்துக்கொண்டமுக்கியமும் *
நொடியுமாறவைகேட்குந்தோறும் என்னெஞ்சம் நின்தனக்கேகரைந்துகும் *
கொடியவல்வினையேன் உன்னையென்றுகொல்கூடுவதே?

3340 aṭiyai mūṉṟai iranta āṟum * aṅke niṉṟu āzh kaṭalum maṇṇum viṇṇum
muṭiya * īr aṭiyāl muṭittukkŏṇṭa mukkiyamum **

Simple Translation

I hear of Your great glory recounted by the devout, how You sought land with three strides and covered the Earth, the deep ocean, and the spiritual world in two strides. My mind, absorbed in You, melts down, heavy with sin as I am. When will I meditate on You, calm and steady?
