dam was built on that ocean (by ṣrī rāma) and was broken —

reaching it alone exclusively —

desire towards the divine thul̤asi —

if it is not due to that —

we both [āzhvār and his heart] have that knowledge —

singing praises on him, that itself —

that too (seeking other benefits) —

ī have instructed (you) this previous meaning. —

knowing that enjoying emperumān at paramapadham (ṣrī vaikuṇtam) is good —

leaving aside desiring that paramapadham —

ī will clarify (to you) that it has been mentioned without analysing —

looking at the way he was dancing with the pots —

hearing those words which they were saying —

or he totally denies knowing about me —

remaining that is present —

to be in a particular manner —
