Simple Translation
2487. He says,
“O girls, you are as beautiful as the vines
in the Thiruvenkatam hills in the north where Māyon stays.
Even though I tell you how I suffer, you don’t listen.
Are your mouths as beautiful as thondai fruit?
Are you worried that if you speak,
the parrots that hear you will feel shy?
Tell me, I have done bad karmā. ”
