ŏh one who is having the divine chakra which is of the nature of destroying their [devotees-] enemies! —

the divine feet of emperumān who is reclining, holding the incomparable sudharṣana chakkaram (divine disc) —

aren’t you the emperumān with divine disc in your divine hand! —

will instruct to approach chakrapāṇi (emperumān, who has the divine disc in his hand) —

that he has the divine disc [chakrāyudham] —

one who has the divine disc fitting well with his divine hand —

sarvĕṣvara (lord of all) who has the divine chakra (disc) which has within it, all the objects which emit radiance —

the dark divine form of one who holds the divine disc in his hand —

at the divine feet of emperumān who is holding in his hand the divine disc (the implement for killing the crocodile) —

from emperumān who has divine disc —

emperumān who resembles a huge ocean —

one who is worshipped by the people of the world and who reclines in thiruppāṛkadal (milky ocean) —

one who reclines on the ocean [thiruppāṛkadal] —

emperumān who holds the chakkara (divine disc) in his hand —

having the divine weapon of thiruvāzhi (chakra) —

having the divine chakra in the divine hand —

one who has thiruvāzhi (divine chakra) —

ŏne who is having the thiruvāzhi (divine chakra) —

just as he never abandons thiruvāzhi āzhwān (chakkaraththāzhvār) —
