ஆழியானே என் தந்தையும் தாயும்

2654 அடர்பொன்முடியானை ஆயிரம்பேரானை *
சுடர்கொள்சுடராழியானை * - இடர்கடியும்
மாதாபிதுவாக வைத்தேன் எனதுள்ளே *
யாதாகில்யாதேயினி?

Simple Translation

2654. He wears a precious golden crown, carries a shining discus in his hand and has a thousand divine names. He is my father and mother and I keep him in my heart he will remove all my troubles. Whatever happens to me, I am not worried because he will save me.

அடர் பொன் — திரண்ட பொன்மயமானவனும்; முடியானை — திருமுடியை உடையவனும்; ஆயிரம் பேரானை — ஆயிரம் பெயர்களையுடையவனும்; சுடர் — சந்திர சூரியர்களை; கொள் — தோற்கடிக்கும் ஒளியுடைய; ஆழி யானை — சக்கரத்தை உடையவனும்; இடர் கடியும் — துயரங்களைப் போக்கவல்ல; மாதா பிதுவாக — தாய் தந்தையாக; எனது உள்ளே — என் மனத்தினுள்ளே; வைத்தேன் — இருத்தினேன்; இனி யாது ஆகில் யாதே — இனி எனக்கு ஒரு கவலையுமில்லை

adar pon mudiyānai — having a divine crown which can destroy (enemies on merely sighting them); āyiram pĕrānai — one who has thousands of divine names; sudar kol̤ sudar āzhiyānai — sarvĕṣvara (lord of all) who has the divine chakra (disc) which has within it, all the objects which emit radiance; idar kadiyum — removing (my) hurdles; māthā pithuvāga — as mother and father; enadhu ul̤l̤ĕ vaiththĕn — established in my mind; ini — from now onwards; yādhu āgil yādhu — what does it matter, whatever happens?
