நற்றாய் இரங்கல்
Just as a mother speaks of the suffering her daughter endures due to her love for Krishna, the āzhvār, embodying that mother, narrates and experiences these feelings. This hymn conveys the girl's condition, the words spoken about her by the townsfolk, and her desire to have her wedding in her own home, even though it is a small one (verse 10).
கண்ணன்மீது மையல் கொண்டு தன் மகள் படும்பாட்டைத் தாய் கூறுவதுபோல், ஆழ்வாரும் அப்பெண்ணின் தாயாகவே இருந்துகொண்டு கூறி அனுபவிக்கிறார். பெண்ணின் நிலை, அவளைப் பற்றி ஊரார் கூறும் சொல் ஆகியவற்றையும், தன் வீடு சிறிய வீடாக இருந்தாலும், பெண்ணின் திருமணத்தை வீட்டிலேயே செய்யவேண்டும் என்ற அவளது கருத்தையும் (பாடல் 10) இத்திருமொழி அறிவிக்கிறது.

on the white sand in the front yard of her house,

my daughter into the deep water of love.
Oh! the saying is that the spoon that scoops the porridge
doesn’t know how much salt is in the porridge.

296. Vishnuchithan, the chief of Puduvai
surrounded with beautiful flower gardens
composed a garland of ten pāsurams
