to be eliminated with the karma (puṇya/pāpa), the root of such sorrow —

(and) removed without trace —

that yaṣŏdhā, who was perspiring from her forehead (due to the effort of churning) —

with the roots in sideways —

(such that its) fragrant mane (hair) —

destroying them completely along with the ruchi (taste) and vāsanā (habit/impressions) like pulling out a plant along with its root- —

eliminated completely from the root (once nature of self is realised as completely dependent on bhagavān, as the joy is for the āthmā, elimination of hurdles can also be attributed to self) —

having continuous flow of honey —

to be gone without trace; —

whether it is the root —

being the sahakāri kāraṇa (ancillary cause) —

with its traces —

root —

fragrant —

and scared —

perspiring —
