(you are of the nature who is) prayed by the brāhmaṇas using —

 not having any kindness towards them (angu) as ḥis nature, such emperumān who is sarvĕṣvaran (lord of all), —

the nature of loving kindness —

ẏou are of such a nature that they can reach ẏou (by their own efforts as the means). —

those who do not know that property of the sandalwood paste made from sandalwood trees which grow in the podhigai malai (podhigai mountain range) in the kingdom of pāṇdyas. —

those whose nature is to be subservient to him —

ḍid anyone do anything to convert the natural quality of coolness of the moon to a hot state like this? —

having the quality of accepting me as his servitor —

will ī forget and ignore the divine feet of emperumān who (protects and) prevents diseases and deeds which come about on account of physical form? —

thus, having such nature —

made us to desire for him and attain him —

my basic nature of seeking out your divine feet —

making them realiśe their true nature —

having nature —

svabhāvam (true nature) —

you are of that nature —

distinguished nature —

his nature (distinguished identity, of being the cause) —
