alam purindha nedum thadakkai – Āzhvār describes Emperumān’s arm as long due to the act of giving. The giving is so generous that the receiver eventually says "enough" (alam). The giving is of such magnitude that the recipient no longer needs to seek anything from anyone else. This illustrates that one who has taken refuge in Emperumān has no interest

மந்த்ரத்தை மந்தரத்தால் மறவாது என்றும் வாழ்தியேல் -என்று திருமந்த்ரத்தை பிரமாணத்தாலே கண்டு போகை  அன்றிக்கே கண்ணாலே கண்டு அனுபவிக்கலாம் படி வந்து அவதரித்து எல்லார் தலையிலும் திருவடிகளை வைத்து முறையால் உணர்த்தின சம்பந்தத்தையும்(மண் முழுதும் அகப்படுத்தி ) தத் காலத்தில் செவ்வியையும்(மலர் புரையும் திருவடி ) அதுக்கு பிற்பாடர் ஆகையாலே அனுபவிக்கப் பெற்றிலோம்
