being the unmatched rider of garudāzhvān having beautiful wings, —

accepting emperumān as the support —

being the primary lord —

(like the rays which were separated from the sun) alone (amidst the rākshasis) in a confined manner —

my loneliness (where ī cannot bear the separation) —

my lonely mind —

 for me being alone —

 ŏh you, sarvĕṣvaran, who are our lord! —

being alone in this manner —

 (when incarnating as kaṇṇan) of emperumān who won those like murugan (subrahmaṇya) who threw his spear into the sea that is having mountain inside it, —

sleeping alone —

one which traverses the skies, reined by seven horses and having one wheel —

singular enjoyer —

with the gong of the unparalleled bell striking continuously —

ŏh you who are the distinguished cause and who are the primary virtue! —

being the unique cause —

being the independent cause (without looking for anyone-s assistance) —

primordial causal entity —

 the matchless big crocodile-s —

being the three types of causes viś nimiththa (efficient), upādhāna (material) and sahakāri (ancillary) kāraṇa (causes) himself —
