என்னிடம் இரக்கமின்றிச் சென்றுவிட்டாளே!

1213 எந்துணையென்றுஎடுத்தேற்கு இறையேனும் இரங்கிற்றிலள் *
தன்துணையாய என்தன் தனிமைக்கும் இரங்கிற்றிலள் *
வன்துணைவானவர்க்காய் வரம்செற்று * அரங்கத்து உறையும்
இன்துணைவன்னொடும்போய் எழிலாலி புகுவர்கொலோ?. (2)

Simple Translation

1213. Her mother says, “I gave birth to her and thought she would be my help, but she left me without thinking that I would be lonely. The god of Thiruvarangam who gave a boon to the gods saying that he would help them went to Lankā and destroyed the Rākshasas. Will she go to beautiful Thiruvāli with her sweet companion?

என் துணை என்று — எனக்குத் துணை என்று; எடுத்தேற்கு — பெற்று வளர்த்த என்னைப் பற்றி இவளுக்கு; இறையேனும் — கொஞ்சமும்; இரங்கிற்றிலள் — இரக்கமில்லை; தன் துணை ஆய — இதுவரையில் தனக்கு உதவியாயிருந்த; என்தன் தனிமைக்கும் — நான் தனியே இருப்பதைப் ப்ற்றியும்; இரங்கிற்றிலள் — இரக்கம் கொள்ளவில்லை; வானவர்க்கு — தேவர்களுக்கு; வன் துணை ஆய் — சிறந்த துணையாய்; வரம் செற்று — அரக்கர்களின் பலத்தை அடக்கி; அரங்கத்து உறையும் — ஸ்ரீரங்கத்திலிருக்கும்; இன் துணைவனொடும் — நல்ல துணைவனான திருமாலோடே; போய் — சென்று இருவரும்; எழில் ஆலி — அழகிய திருவாலியில்; புகுவர்கொலோ — புகுந்திருப்பர்களோ
