holding on to the divine body of nārāyaṇa —

 my lord who has matchless strength —

the purusha (supreme entity) who is called as thirumāl —

he is (the supreme) one entity —

that he is incomparable —

that he is the one —

after they know that there is “īṣwaran” —

(wise men) will say that there is only one —

 as -the distinguished one- —

 is the unique one. —

he is the lone warrior —

being the singular cause —

 having incomparable strength —

 being matchless —

 though he remains distinguished (in this manner) —

one among them, ṣiva, —

any jīvāthmā (sentient entity) —

adhvithīya- unparalleled one —

one with a distinguished form (due to these beautiful limbs, beautiful ornaments and beautiful weapons) —
