to nammāzhvār who is born in āzhvārthirunagari that is great and magnanimous —

leader of āzhvārthirunagari —

 saying -one who remains as antharyāmi of rudhra who has three eyes- —

 for brahmā who was born before —

to nammāzhvār (who is the leader of beautiful āzhvārthirunagari) —

 one who is complete with vīraṣrī (the wealth of valour) —

 being full in all auspicious qualities —

 ŏh one who is complete with all auspicious qualities! —

 one who is complete —

 one who is complete in being most trustworthy —

 is complete with the beauty of his reddish eyes; —

leader of āzhvārthirunagari —

ŏh nammāzhvār! —

Being complete to fulfil his tasks such as creation etc —
