947. The Lord, who is full of love, is ever affectionate toward all who have surrendered to Him.
Likewise, Madhurakavi, the devoted disciple, was full of love for Nammazhvar,
who resides in the southern city of Kurugūr.
He composed the hymn Kaṇṇi nuṇ siṛuttāmbu out of that devotion.
Those who place their faith in this hymn—
know for certain: their destination is Vaikuṇṭha.
