one who incarnated as narasimha —

appropriately taking the form of narasimha (combination of lion face and human body) —

rising up in the form of narasimha (part man and part lion) —

incarnating as an incomparable narasinga mūrththy (lion face and human body) —

oh, the beauty of Your form! —

making his nature unknown to anyone else —

 is invigorating, like (when seeing) the big ocean; —

the elephant kuvalayāpīdam which had black complexion —

 assuming the form of narasimha —

the dark divine form of one who holds the divine disc in his hand —

other objects which are dark in complexion —

he himself has the form which is amaśing —

the sweet, auspicious form (of that emperumān) —

 the form that is like the dark rainy clouds, —

the three entities (brahmā, vishṇu andn rudhra) who have beautiful forms —

is your form —

the radiant form (with which you are subservient to your followers) —

he himself has the divine form which is radiant —
