she said “drink” to make the infant happy in its mind —

if we just said just one sentence that you are the shelter (charaṇam), —

if one should stay quietly —

if requested —

if we said so —

if asked to fold your hands together [in the gesture of offering anjali] —

 hearing that it is the nature of this child —

if we say that (emperumān) stands, stays, reclines and walks —

 ĕven though ī said so, —

she [fortune teller] said that only emperumān, who has a thousand divine names [caused this disease] —

she showed through gestures that it is only the beautiful conch, curling to the right hand side. —
