மனமே! இராமானுசனே சரணம் என்று கூறு

3990 இடுமே? இனியசுவர்க்கத்தில் * இன்னும் நரகிலிட்டுச்
சுடுமே? அவற்றைத்தொடர்தருதொல்லை * சுழல்பிறப்பில்
நடுமே? இனிநம்மிராமானுசன் நம்மைநம்வசத்தே
விடுமே? சரணமென்றால் * மனமே! நையல்மேவுதற்கே. (2)

Simple Translation

3990. Those who are born can only reach Mokshā, or go to hell to be born on the earth again and again. O mind, if you worship the lord he will give you Rāmānujā, and you will not have any suffering.

நம் இராமாநுசன் — நம் இராமாநுசரே உமது திருவடிகளே; சரணம் என்றால் — சரணம் என்று நாம் சொன்னால்; இனிய சுவர்க்கத்தில் — இனிய ஸ்வர்க்கத்தில் நம்மை; இடுமே? — சேர்த்திடுவாரோ?; இன்னும் நரகில் — அல்லது நரகத்தில்; இட்டுச் சுடுமே? — தள்ளி தஹிக்கச் செய்வாரோ?; அவற்றை — அவற்றை; தொடர் தரு — தொடர்ந்து கிடக்கும்; தொல்லை சுழல் — தொன்மையாக சுழன்று வரும்; பிறப்பில் நடுமே? — பிறப்பில் நிறுத்துவாரோ?; இனி நம்மை — மேலுள்ள காலங்களில் நம்மை; நம் வசத்தே — நாம் போகிற; விடுமே? — வழியேவிட்டு வைப்பரோ?; மனமே! — ஓ மனமே!; மேவுதற்கே — பேறு பெறும் விஷயமாக; நையல் — நீ கரைந்திட வேண்டாம்
