at your divine temple’s entrance —

 the abode where he is eternally residing —

 to me who asked ḥim  how far is the place (from here) of you my majesty, —

temple served by vibhishaṇāzhwān who is the king of lankā —

thiruppāṛkadal (milky ocean) which is like a bālalayam [temporary structure to accommodate emperumān) —

having distinguished tower —
