Simple Translation

Focus your thoughts on Tirukkaṭittāṉam, the sacred city, where the inhabitants venerate the beautiful lotus feet of Kōvintaṇ, the One who measured the entire earth and heavens. Even the celestial beings descend to worship there, ensuring all your sorrows vanish instantly.

Explanatory Notes

(i) In the preceding song, the Āzhvār exhorted the worldlings to worship this pilgrim centre but here he says it would suffice if they just think of the place.
