he can not be perceived —

in order to enter the hearts of followers —

he [emperumān] is the controller for both the types of deeds, virtuous and sinful —

the one emperumān who is fit to be attained. —

it is only he who becomes this expansive world —

he is the swāmy (lord) for rudhra (ṣivan) who swallowed the poison which got generated during churning of the big ocean —

the creator of the fire which will burn the ocean with a rage —

will not be subservient to anyone else —

he is the executor for the puṇya (virtues) and pāpa (vices) which are with jīvas (souls). —

he can be compared only to himself —

he is all of these —

one who has all the above as his attributes —
