மாசற்றார் மனத்தில் உள்ளான் அரங்கன்

893 பேசிற்றேபேசலல்லால் பெருமையொன்றுணரலாகாது *
ஆசற்றார் தங்கட்கல்லால் அறியலாவானுமல்லன் *
மாசற்றார்மனத்துளானை வணங்கிநாமிருப்பதல்லால் *
பேசத்தானாவதுண்டோ? பேதைநெஞ்சே! நீ சொல்லாய்.
893 peciṟṟe pecal allāl * pĕrumai ŏṉṟu uṇaral ākātu *
ācaṟṟār taṅkaṭku allāl * aṟiyal āvāṉum allaṉ **
mācaṟṟār maṉattul̤āṉai * vaṇaṅki nām iruppatu allāl *

Simple Translation

893. O heart, you may speak of him (Arangan) but you cannot really know his greatness. No one can know him unless they are faultless. We can only worship him who stays in the hearts of his faultless devotees. O ignorant heart, can you speak of him? Tell me.
