Simple Translation

2980. The Supreme Lord, who rests on the serpent bed and holds Lakṣmī (the lotus-born) in His embrace, is the Progenitor of both Brahmā and Śiva. He freely descends among everyone and is the Granter of Mokṣa. He serves as a sure and certain raft to help us navigate and cross the difficult and dreadful ocean of Saṃsāra.
