499. The girls ask God for the things that they need for their
nombu and say,
“O Lord beautiful as a sapphire,
We shall tell You the principles our ancestors followed for
nonbu.
Hear us! Give us the things we need for our nombu.
We want You to give us white, milk-colored conches
that will roar and shake the earth like your conch, the
Pānchajanyam big drums(Parais) and devotees who hail You
and sing Your praise.
Give us beautiful lamps, flags and roofed places
O Krishna! You sleep on the banyan leaf as an infant during
deluge.
Give us your grace.
We are going to worship our Pāvai.
