இவற்றைப் பாடுவோர் பழவினை நீங்கும்

1117 அன்னமும்மீனும் ஆமையும்அரியும்
ஆயஎம்மாயனே! அருளாய் *
என்னும்இன்தொண்டர்க்கு இன்னருள்புரியும்
இடவெந்தை எந்தைபிரானை *
மன்னுமாமாடமங்கையர்தலைவன்
மானவேல்கலியன்வாயொலிகள் *
பன்னியபனுவல்பாடுவார் நாளும்
பழவினைபற்றறுப்பாரே. (2)

Simple Translation

1117. He who came as Swan and Fish, as Tortoise and fierce Lion —our wondrous Lord who took these forms for our sake! To the devotees who sweetly cry out, "Grant us Your grace!" He grants His sweet, unfailing mercy. That Lord of Thiruvidavēnthai, is praised by Kaliyan, the valorous one with the noble spear, chief of radiant Thirumangai, the place with lofty mansions. Those who sing these divine verses, day after day with love , they will cut away the bonds of their ancient karmas, completely and forever.

அன்னமும் மீனும் — ஹம்ஸாவதாரமும் மத்ஸ்யாவதாரமும்; ஆமையும் அரியும் — கூர்மாவதாரமும் நரஸிம்மாவதாரமுமாக; ஆய எம் மாயனே! — அவதரித்த எம்பெருமானே!; அருளாய் என்னும் — அருள் புரியவேண்டும் என்று பிரார்த்திக்கிற; இன் தொண்டர்க்கு — பரம பக்தர்களுக்கு; இன் அருள் புரியும் — இன் அருள் புரியும்; இடவெந்தை எந்தை பிரானை — இடவெந்தை பிரானைக் குறித்து; மன்னு மா மாட — பெரிய மாடங்களையுடைய; மங்கையர் தலைவன் — திருமங்கைக்குத் தலைவரும்; மானவேல் — சிறந்த வேலை உடையவருமான; கலியன் — திருமங்கை ஆழ்வார்; வாய் ஒலிகள் — அருளிச்செய்த சிறந்த; பன்னிய பனுவல் — இப்பாசுரங்களை; பாடுவார் நாளும் — அனுஸந்திப்பவர்கள் எந்நாளும்; பழவினை — தங்கள் பூர்வ கர்மங்களின்; பற்று அறுப்பாரே — சம்பந்தம் முற்றிலுமாக போக்குவர்

annamum — hamsāvathāram; mīnum — mathsyāvathāram; āmaiyum — kūrmāvathāram; ariyumāya — one who mercifully performed narasimhāvathāram as well; em māyanĕ — ŏh you who are my lord having amaśing abilities!; arul̤āy — mercifully shower your mercy; ennum — one who prays; in — distinguished; thoṇdarkku — servitors; in arul̤ puriyum — one who gives his great mercy; idavendhai endhai pirānai — on nithya kalyāṇan who is eternally residing in thiruvidavendhai; mannum — remaining eternally (surviving even the deluge); mā — huge; mādam — having mansions; mangaiyar — for the residents of thirumangai region; thalaivan — being the leader; mānam — having broad leaf; vĕl — holding the spear; kaliyan — āzhvār-s; vāy — in the divine lips; oli — to become famous; panniya — mercifully elaborated; panuval — songs; pāduvār — those who can recite, being stimulated by love; nāl̤um — forever; pazhavinai — their past karmas-; paṝu — relationship; aṛuppār — will eliminate along with the traces.
