Bhagavān, along with His consorts, wished to hear Thiruvāymozhi while residing at Thiruvāranvilai. Āzhvār, not only desired to sing the divine hymns but also wished to perform many kainkaryams there. But, his wish did not transpire.

- Verse 1:
Tirumakaḷ and Mother Earth are Your divine consorts, fitting Your beauty and majesty. The celestials are Your vassals, always ready to obey You. You are the sovereign of the three worlds and can assume any form at will. Your lotus eyes and coral lips, unmatched in beauty, torment this sinner's soul. Oh, gem of a Lord, dear to me like life and insatiable nectar, You churned the surging ocean. Pray, let me behold You. - Verse 2:
Agitated stands this sinner, tears flooding my eyes. Many times did I call You, eager to behold Your exquisite Form. Many methods did I adopt, all of which failed. Your grace rests merely on my prattling Your names. Oh Lord, You incarnated as Kākuttaṉ and Kaṇṇan. You are the fruit of the wish-yielding tree for this vassal. Nectar of the devout, You redeemed the Earth from the deep waters. Oh Benefactor great, may You be visible unto me. - Verse 3:
You are the dear one of Nanda, the great protector, and the joy of Yashoda, like an elephant calf in their family. You revealed Your glory to me, a humble devotee. An ocean of compassion, You tore the demon Hiranyakashipu apart with Your nails. Yet now, You do not appear before me in any form. If You neglect us thus, how can devotees like me trust You as our great Protector? - Verse 4:
My Lord, You brought about the battle of Mahā Bhārata to quell the cruel armies. You are nectar to the celestials, deadly poison to the Asuras, and dear life to me. You take on forms beloved by Your devotees and perform wondrous deeds that endear You to the devout. Yet, this sinner is led to doubt whether all that is said of You is indeed correct. - Verse 5:
You are my life, dear Lord! You created the spacious worlds, pulling them from the deep waters during the deluge. You, the Supreme Lord, spanned the worlds, reposed on the vast sheet of water, churned the ocean, bunded it, and later broke the bund. You are to the Devas what they are to men. Oh, great One, unique Soul of all the worlds, where shall I attain You? - Verse 6:
My Sovereign Lord, You are the master of the seven worlds and the deities worshipped within them, as well as the rituals performed for them and all things beyond. Everything, subtle or manifest, is bound to You. How and where can I attain such a one as You? - Verse 7:
Sweet as fresh-drawn milk and the ghee that follows, You are, my Lord, the very essence of sweetness in ghee, the ambrosia from the ocean with its delightful contents, the joy that comes from such sweetness. You married the charming Piṉṉai. Oh Gopal, you control the past, future, and present. This sinner is losing faith in You, even then, as the Lord Supreme of all things, near, far, and in between. - Verse 8:
Mighty Gopāla, with intense love, You wed Piṉṉai. Your auspicious traits, deadly to the mighty Asuras, tear this great sinner apart. Garuḍa, on Your banner, imposes miseries on them. You repose in the Milk-ocean on the thousand-hooded serpent. I, along with my mind, word, and deed, am entirely swayed by You. Therefore, I know not how I can worship You on my own. - Verse 9:
It's true, You are within me as You are within everything else, even this life of hardship I endure belongs to You. Whether You grant me spiritual or worldly bliss or keep me in this distressing life, it matters not. Yet, when I realize my true nature, life here becomes dreadful. Therefore, I beseech You, seated in the blissful SriVaikuntam, to bless me with attainment of Your lovely feet. - Verse 10:
With great pleasure and certainty, I have sold my soul to You, resplendent Lord, in return for the unwavering faith in Your feet that You have bestowed upon me. I see in You many shoulders, numerous crowns, a multitude of lotus eyes, and many feet, each bearing different names. My Sire, I know You intend to shower many favors upon me, a poor soul. - Verse 11:
Devotees, we can all attain salvation by reciting these ten songs, part of the thousand composed by Kurukūr Caṭakōpaṉ. They adore the peerless Lord of the Universe, of unique grandeur, the great Sire of Piramaṉ (Brahmā), Uruthiraṉ (Rudra), and the worthy Master of illustrious sages like Sanaka and all the Devas.
